1. Integrated Social Studies Unit Plan

Students will develop an integrated Social Studies Unit Plan on a topic related to Social Studies. It must be inquiry based and developmentally appropriate. The Units focus questions must be open ended (*see essential questions guideline). Lesson plans within the unit should have integrated content (literacy, math, social studies, science), and activities that encompass a wide range of Creative Arts (art, music, movement). The activities can be project based.

Lesson plans within the Unit must include IEP goals (differentiated instruction) and Standards. Students should consider a culminating activity to end the unit and include in the planning activities, artifacts, or resources that can be shared with families for participation/collaboration at home.
