Essays (4 written responses, approximately 60 points total): You will need to complete several written assignments based on course materials and/or experiential activities. Some will be descriptive essays, others will be reflective essays. Number of points will vary by essay; expect 10-15 points each. Late Pass can be used.EduTool Projects (3 projects, approximately 60 points total): You will need to complete three projects in which you will create an educational tool on a course-related topic that could be used in a health promotion campaign. Projects may involve creating a video, an Adobe Spark page, infographic, etc. Number of points will vary by project; expect 15-20 points each. Late Pass can be used.Discussions (4 topics, approximately 40 points total): You will be assigned to a group of 7-8 students. You will be asked to comment on a posted question or topic, using course materials to justify your ideas. You will also be required to reply to posts from others in your group. A comment is worth 7.5 points and a reply is worth 2.5, making each Discussion worth 10 points. Late Pass does not apply.Final Reflection (50 points): The “final exam” for this class will consist of a written paper that exemplifies what you learned over the course of this semester. You can expect this to be approximately two pages. Late Pass does not apply.
