For you as a reader, what dominates the Irish poetry we have read? In other words, what strikes you most about this poetry? Spirituality? Nature? Faith? Anger? The artistry and work of the poetry itself? I want to know what is most important about this poetry to you as a reader and a person. Word count: Maximum of 150 WORDS Write concise sentences with no more than 20-25 words per sentence. Point to a specific example(s) in the poetry to support your claim. You may write in the first-person, and you may write about how your own experiences, sensibilities, etc. influence your analysis of and response to the poetry. Dont try to take on too much. Be specific. Keep the focus narrow and precise. You can focus intensely on a couple of lines of poetry. You do not have to mention each poem. Do not summarize the poems. Write freely about the problems or the beauty of the poems.
