Nigerian Parents with Autistic Children: A Qualitative Study

Overall, the student and committee did a good job with this proposal. However, there are a number of revisions needed in order for the student to move forward. There are some minor grammatical errors. There are also some places in the draft in need of clarification. The Table of Contents is not accurate. There are no “recommendations for further study” which would identify gaps in the literature. Many articles in the draft are too old to utilize. In Chapter 2, the student writes about the years searched ending in 2019 so I rec‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌ommend a new literature search to obtain more recent articles. The student wrote about the framework of the study in the wrong section. I think you will find her feedback pretty straightforward and clear in the document. You do need to update your search range to 2021. You may continue to use the older citations in your proposal. However, you do need update some of them with more current citations per the URR’s request. Typically you will find that the research findings have not changed so you do not need to change what you wrote. Rather, you just need to update the older citation by also including a more recent one. I made one change in your proposal as to the information for the ASN by capitalizing the name with its abbreviation. In that case, it is a statement of fact about the ASN so you do not need a new citati‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌on.
