It seeks to answer basic questions such as Who am I? and What is good and what is evil? (Principia Cybernetica Web, 2000). Experiences inform and enhance worldviews. Worldviews, therefore, cannot be separated from experience. In order to create a context for the historical underpinnings of individuals psychological theory and their personal development, it is necessary to grasp the interplay between experience, worldview, and theory. For this Discussion, select a different theorist from the one you chose in Discussion 1. By Day 4 Post by Day 4 a brief description of your chosen theorists experiences and worldview. Explain how the theorists experiences might have influenced his or her worldview and why. Then explain both positive and negative implications of relying on experience and worldview in developing a theory of psychology.
