The trajectory of development

We have covered a wide range of topics during the first three weeks of class. The trajectory of development is a process including multiple factors and potential risks. Next week, we will dive into how the concepts covered thus far are directly related to our field, special education. As a starting point into our upcoming topics, please read and reflect on this week’s article that lays out theories for inclusive education practices. We are reading this article to consider how we can most effectively INCLUDE all students.

– Then, answer the following questions and bring your responses with you to next week’s class-Explain what is meant by theories-based approach to learning.-Describe how you have, or have not yet, experienced the behaviorism, cognitivism, and/ or constructivism as part of your teaching practice?
For Full Credit:– Each paper should include your name, the topic title, and date.– Thoroughly address the prompt with thought, clarity, and synthesis, and with at least 300 – 500 words, double spaced.– The reflection should focus on a synthesis of the concepts outlined in relevant course materials provided (from the start of the course to date) and how they relate to and/or impact your teaching experience. *Writing and submitting a summary will not meet the expectations.
