OverviewThe corporate case study gives students an opportunity to put themselves in the shoes of a corporate executive while applying many of the class frameworks. Students will read a sustainability-focused case and complete a worksheet to help outline the potential solutions to the central problem in the case. The ensuing paper will be a concise recommendation, supported by evidence from the case, which is to be written to the executive featured in the case. Students will develop writing and analytical skills while making a persuasive argument.Student Learning Outcomes· Analyze options presented in the case· Write case analysis that succinctly argues for a point of view and is supported by evidence (scholarly resources)· Recognize tradeoffs in sustainability and stakeholder decision makingSustainability at IKEA Group Case Question:Your Harvard Case Analysis Worksheet and final deliverable should be written to address the following questions:· Which of the options presented in the case would you recommend that IKEA adopt and why (use supportive evidence)?· How do the needs of stakeholders factor into your recommendation?Answers should be supported by evidence from the case and other research as needed.General Case You should approach the case as if you are consulting to the organization at the time of the case issue (not in the current year).
